We can’t claim to be incredibly original with what we’re about to share. But it’s very natural and even understandable to take stock at the end of the natural year, checking if everything is in the same place as when you started and reviewing where you stand, what you’ve achieved, and what lies ahead for the looming year.
We are very, very pleased with our year, we’d be lying if we said otherwise. Here we summarize the highlights.
Growth and Improvement in Key Areas
With the whole tech world revolutionized by Artificial Intelligence, we decided to go all-in on a field we’ve been working in for a long time. We embarked on this journey long before this boom, for sure.
In fact, we made a significant investment in R&D focused on Generative AI, already having our first proofs of concept in production and starting to work with many clients who are discovering all that AI can do for their organizations.
This translates into us operating at full capacity all year and creating cutting-edge digital products and solutions. Things have gone pretty well: our goal in January 2023 was to invoice two million euros in twelve months and we surpassed that target. By far, in fact.
The results of the fiscal year are above our own forecasts and well above the sector average. This trend has even led us to open our first international office.
Agreements and Certifications Making Us Better
Additionally, we’ve achieved becoming a Cloud Solution Partner of Microsoft after a change in the company’s criteria and standards for this. Now it’s harder to belong to the ‘Big Leagues,’ but our team has trained and certified to be part of this elite.
It’s a significant milestone for us because it demonstrates that we push ourselves to the maximum, to be able to offer the best to those who trust Wembley Studios, with the ‘endorsement’ of Microsoft, the undisputed leader in this industry.
But we don’t stop there. We want to build a bridge between the business and academic worlds, which actually sustain all this innovation. We signed a collaboration agreement involving three parties between Microsoft, Wembley Studios, and the Artificial Intelligence Research (Air) Institute, with the aim of facilitating access to Microsoft technology for those researching in the field of AI and, in turn, bringing the practical implementation of their research closer to the business context.
Getting Serious About Communication
We realized that all of this demonstrates how well we’ve been working, both this year and the previous decade. But we also became aware that we weren’t telling it right! Or that we weren’t telling it at all, actually.
So we put ourselves in the hands of professionals in this field and gave our website and its content a good shake-up. We also launched a monthly newsletter, aiming to differentiate ourselves by providing value to those interested in these topics and in what we do.
And we ventured into the world of podcasting. Since mid-year, our video podcast El Garaje de Wozniak has been available on YouTube and all audio platforms, a space to look up and seek out the leaders of this industry; getting to know them up close, understanding how they think, how they work, what concerns them, and how they have reached where they are.
If Wembley Studios wants to continue to be at the forefront, we have to learn from the best. And we think that everything they bring to us could also be valuable for others, so every month you have two new episodes to discover, listen to, watch, and take note of.
And in 2024…
Well, we will continue to grow, of course. Our forecasts speak of a 25% growth rate that we may exceed, as happened in 2023. And we will continue to develop the strategies that have worked well for us this year. We fully intend to become a Cloud Solution Partner of Microsoft in the Data & AI area, and, of course, we will put all the knowledge, skill, and expertise of our team into bringing Generative AI —among other digital products— to the clients who want to trust us. The future is more present than ever, we want to be part of it, and we want our fellow travelers to be part of it too. We count on you.
