The Future of Generative AI in Business Contexts
Wembley Studios strengthens its strategic alliances to lead the research and development of projects related to Artificial Intelligence. On October 10th, it presented in Madrid, at the facilities of La Finca of Microsoft in Pozuelo de Alarcón, a collaboration agreement with the Artificial Intelligence Research (AIR) Institute. At the event that hosted the formalization of this agreement, under the name Generative Artificial Intelligence and Copilot, the President of AIR Institute, Juan Manuel Corchado, outlined the global lines of work of the Institute, as well as its short and medium-term research priorities in the field of generative artificial intelligence.
An Agreement to Boost Cloud Computing with Microsoft Azure
The collaboration agreement we signed with AIR Institute precisely seeks to strengthen the synergy between the two entities. On one hand, Wembley will be able to migrate present and future projects of the Institute to the Microsoft Azure cloud environment, in addition to collaborating punctually in their technological development. We will also be able to facilitate our current clients access to the teams and research processes of the AIR Institute.
Regarding this collaboration, our Chief Digital Officer, Félix Velasco, stated that “A new stage is opening up, between two institutions from Salamanca and the world’s largest technology company, to help companies be at the forefront of artificial intelligence solutions.”
Aside from cloud computing and Azure solutions, Generative Artificial Intelligence was one of the clear protagonists of the event. Eduardo Corrochano, Manager at Microsoft, explained how Github Copilot works and what it allows, a tool for AI aimed at improving the work procedures of programmers while working with code. Corrochano also participated in a roundtable discussion alongside Juan Manuel Corchado and our CEO, Javier Ovejero, where they analyzed the future challenges posed by Artificial Intelligence in educational, business, talent acquisition and retention fields, and how to address them.
We also showed the audience how our developments in AI are helping companies that are already working with us, and that they can train their own AI models, using their own data, while safeguarding the privacy and integrity of the data in the process.
A First Step of Many to Come
The signing of the agreement with AIR Institute marks the beginning of a joint journey that we believe will be long and fruitful, and that can bring notable benefits in the corporate context. In fact, it caught the attention of many attendees at the event, as they expressed during the subsequent networking, including José Luis Sierra, CIO of CEPSA-GLP, Vicente Padrón, General Manager of Opengy, or Monica Maraver, Technology Director of Gesvalt, among others.
Microsoft, AIR Institute, and Wembley Studios initiate a synergy that, from a position of leadership, seeks to transform corporate life, improve the day-to-day of companies, and maximize the true potential of generative Artificial Intelligences. In the future, strategic actions similar to this one will occur that “Allow us to become one of the best technology consulting firms in Artificial Intelligence matters and one of the main Partners of Microsoft in Spain,” as stated by Javier Ovejero.
