One of our most important drivers—though not the only one—is taking on challenges. In that sense, the most recent challenge for Wembley Studios has to do with looking inward, with analyzing, knowing oneself, and making oneself known. We’ve already mentioned that we’ve taken on the responsibility of communicating more and doing it a little better. A bit more organization, a bit more structure, fewer complexes, and some time and space to look up from the keyboard and screen, to open windows and let the sun in. To be better known. And also to open up and get to know others better.

A space to learn from the best. Technology and more

To achieve some of these objectives, we’ve embarked on a project that has excited us for much of the summer and looks like it will be “the apple of our eye” for the rest of the year—and beyond. We now host Wembley’s video podcast: The Wozniak Garage. A video podcast—and also available in audio on all platforms—where we aim to talk and get to know, without ceremonies or constraints, the leaders in the technology sector.

One of the privileges of growing as a company has been being in contact with other organizations and leaders with whom we’ve become better and played in “the big leagues,” as the Americans say. And we see it as a great opportunity to talk to those profiles, to people who are leaders in their respective areas of influence, people who contribute and help their environment stand out. How have they achieved it? What influence does technology have on their lives and work? How do they approach and solve problems and challenges? And many more similar questions, which we hope to answer in the episodes we’ll publish every fortnight.

Technology and leadership with a human perspective.

In a garage, Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs created what is now a giant in the industry and also in geek culture. In our modest podcast—which receives that name as a tribute—we also aim to create, although with slightly more modest aspirations.

We’ll talk about what Wembley Studios creates, but above all about what the people who inspire us create; we’ll talk about technology, leadership, how to approach life and work, about everything that’s happening in the techie ecosystem, about Artificial Intelligence, about users and machines. About technology and people, which is what really matters to us.

Because, as complex as a development may seem, as difficult as it may be to unravel a problem, in the end what matters is the person behind the keyboard and that problem.

At Wembley Studios, we always believed in reaching the top without losing sight of the fact that technology must be human, that you can be at the top, side by side with the best, but without taking your feet off the ground and without forgetting your origins, where you come from. And it’s in the leaders who share that vision that we should look to, and it’s them you’ll see and hear in our video podcast. We hope you like it as much as we do.
