To lead (well), you need to join the best. You already know that this is our “policy” with everything we do. That’s why we have decided to join the best and largest association of companies and professionals in the technology sector in Spain. First, because we believe it can benefit us, as well as the people who trust our work. Second, because we want to actively participate in the decision-making process of the sector, as we can contribute and we like having our own voice alongside other leaders.
We are part of the great family of technology companies in Spain
The Multisectoral Association of Electronics, Information and Communication Technologies, Telecommunications, and Digital Content Companies (AMETIC) believes that Wembley Studios is aligned with its mission, vision, and values. Therefore, it deserves to join the group of companies and professionals in the technology sector that “come together” as the most important collective in the country. We are, of course, delighted to say yes.
AMETIC is convinced that a different society and country, using technology as a lever for change, is possible. That digital transformation is also about trying to add value and create a strong economic and development engine, with technology and innovation as its backbone. Obviously, we couldn’t agree more with this approach and we are grateful that, since joining AMETIC, we can participate in this vector of change from within and as an active part.
Why is it key for us?
Obviously, we benefit as members, since one of AMETIC’s roles is to defend our interests. But it is also a strategic position that will allow us to grow better and benefit our clients, as well as to have a positive impact on the cities where we are present.
Participating in events, sector meetings, think tanks, and initiatives to guide or advise on the legislation that will be necessary in a time of enormous transformation… All of this is positive for Wembley as a company, but it will also give new meaning to our leadership position. If being a leader also means participating in important movements and key moments, let it be from the front lines, which is what partnering with AMETIC allows us to do.
The first sign
We have jumped on board, of course. We like to roll up our sleeves with these things, as you know. And, right after joining, we attended one of the most important events in the country in the area of artificial intelligence: the AMETIC IA Summit 2024, held on May 9th. In addition to making contacts and starting to position ourselves among other members, peers, and colleagues, we learned directly from the Minister of Digital Transformation and Public Function, José Luis Escrivá, that the government will increase the economic injection for the Spanish Artificial Intelligence Strategy by 1.5 billion euros.
It’s a commitment to building the country through technology, an initiative we hope to be part of as leaders, alongside other companies and professionals eager to contribute, just like us.
In short, we have an excellent opportunity to network, to connect with potential partners for projects that interest us, but also the rest of the sector, to firsthand understand what’s coming and to have our own voice. Leadership entails responsibilities like this, and we are delighted. We thank AMETIC for opening its doors to us and we hope to live up to it, as always, when we dive into all kinds of challenges. Undoubtedly, this will help us to improve and work better for our clients. Both current and future ones.
