This has been Wembley Studios' 2023
We look back on an extraordinary year: record revenue, Microsoft Cloud Solution Partner, agreement with AIR Institute and the launch of The Wozniak Garage podcast.
It’s not particularly original to take stock at year’s end, but it’s very natural and understandable to check that everything is still in the same place as when you started, and to review where you stand, what you’ve achieved, and what awaits you in the year lurking just around the corner.
We are very, very satisfied with our year — we’d be lying if we said otherwise. Here’s a summary of the highlights.
Growth and improvement in key areas
With the entire technology world turned upside down by Artificial Intelligence, we decided to go all-in on a field in which we had already been working for a long time. We started this journey well before the current boom, of course.
In fact, we made a major investment in R&D focused on Generative AI. We already have our first proofs of concept in production and are beginning to work with many clients discovering everything AI can do for their organisations.
This means we spent the entire year operating at full capacity and creating cutting-edge digital products and solutions. Things have gone very well: our goal in January 2023 was to invoice two million euros in twelve months, and we surpassed that target. By far, in fact.

The results are above our own forecasts and well above the sector average. This trend even led us to open our first international office.
Agreements and certifications that make us better
We also achieved Microsoft Cloud Solution Partner status, following a change in the company’s certification criteria and standards. It is now harder to belong to the ‘Big Leagues’, but our team has trained and certified to earn a place in this elite.

This is an important milestone for us, because it demonstrates that we demand the very best of ourselves so we can offer the very best to those who trust Wembley Studios — backed by Microsoft, the industry’s undisputed leader.
But we didn’t stop there. We want to build a bridge between the business world and academia, which is ultimately what sustains all this innovation. We signed a three-party collaboration agreement between Microsoft, Wembley Studios and the Artificial Intelligence Research (AIR) Institute, with the aim of facilitating access to Microsoft technology for those researching AI, while also bringing their research closer to practical implementation in the business context.
We got serious about communication
We realised that everything we’ve just told you demonstrates how well we’ve been working, both this year and throughout the previous decade. But we also became aware that we weren’t telling it right — or that we weren’t telling it at all, in fact.
So we put ourselves in the hands of professionals and gave our website and its content a thorough overhaul. We also launched a monthly newsletter, through which we aim to stand out by adding value to those interested in these topics and in what we do.
And we stepped into the world of podcasting. Since mid-year, our video podcast El Garaje de Wozniak has been available on YouTube and all audio platforms — a space to look up from our screens and seek out the industry’s leaders; to get to know them up close, understand how they think, how they work, what concerns them and how they got to where they are.
🎙 Watch El Garaje de Wozniak on YouTube
If Wembley Studios wants to remain at the cutting edge, it has to learn from the best. And we believe everything they share with us could also be valuable to others — so every month you have two new episodes to discover, listen to, watch and take note of.
And in 2024…
We will keep growing, of course. Our forecasts point to a 25% growth rate that we may well exceed, just as happened in 2023. We will continue developing the strategies that have served us well this year. We fully intend to become Microsoft Cloud Solution Partner in the Data & AI area and, of course, we will put all the knowledge, skill and expertise of our team into bringing generative AI — among other digital products — to clients who want to trust us. The future is more present than ever; we want to be part of it, and we want our fellow travellers to be part of it too. We’re counting on you.
